2016 DC Days Participants at USAID

May 9-11, 2016, four faculty members from the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) included Ye Xia with Plant Pathology, Farnaz Maleky representing Food Science Technology (FST), Annie Specht with Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL), Shauna Brummet with BioHio, and David Benfield representing OARDC Director's Office, traveled to Washington, D.C. as part of the DC Days program.  Created by the OARDC's Director's Office and the Grant Development Support Unit, the program was designed to increase the competitiveness of grants submitted by emerging faculty researchers by providing them with an opportunity to visit with a variety of federal agancies and program officers.  Read the full article here.
