Kayla Arnold is the newest member of the GDSU, filling the role of Grants Office Associate. Kayla came to OSU in 2016 as the Office Associate for the IT department, joining the GDSU in 2017. Prior to working at OSU, Kayla was an Access Services Supervisor at the Kenyon College Library.
Kayla received her B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Kenyon College. She completed the honors program in Economics and has managed numerous research projects in economics, sociology, and environmental studies. Much of her work has focused on the economics and sustainability of local food systems. While in college, Kayla completed an internship with the Knox County Extension Office, leading the efforts to create a gleaning program in Knox County. She is currently a member of the CFAES Wooster Campus Staff Council and an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist.
